Samsung is set to announce a host of new products at their Unpacked event next week. One of those products is expected to be their new true wireless earbuds, the Galaxy Buds+.
Today perennial leaker Evan Blass has once again provided us with a leak showing the specs for the upcoming earbuds. The table compares the Galaxy Buds+ to last year’s plain old Buds and show a bigger battery in this year’s plus version. This, as you would expect results in a longer play and talk time.
Other differences include the new ability to have a multi-device connection, 2-way dynamic sound thanks to both a woofer and tweeter being present, an extra outer microphone and a new Spotify button.
Yes, they are basically the same except for the battery and what you would expect to be a slightly better sound thanks to the added woofer. For those who were hoping for noise cancelling (including myself) you are going to be disappointed as there is not a mention of that anywhere — but that was expected based on the most recent leaks of them we have seen.
Samsung is going to have a very busy unpacked event next week but you can be sure we will be covering every little morsel announced along with any local release information. Stay tuned.
