Before every device with Bluetooth onboard is released it must pass Bluetooth certification. More often than not when a device passes this certification its specs are revealed on the certification website. Overnight we have seen the OPPO Find X and Find X2 Pro appear on the Bluetooth SIG website, revealing many specs.
There is some confusion between the two models, the CPH2025 and CPH2023, we do know that the models will have different camera specs to each other. Most sites are assuming that the Find X2 is the CPH2025 and the Pro version the CPH2023.
The difference between the two is that the CPH2025 will have a rear camera setup of a 48MP main camera, a 48MP secondary (ultrawide) and 13MP third lens (telephoto?). On the other hand the CPH2023 will have a triple rear camera setup of 48MP, 12MP and 13MP with the third lens expected to be a 13MP periscope lens to provide the 60x hybrid zoom the Pro is rumoured to have.
Other specs mentioned include 5G support, Snapdragon 865, 6.7-inch display with WQHD+ resolution and a 32MP front-facing camera. Interestingly there is no mention of a second front-facing camera in either model suggesting that the earlier leak of an image with dual front facing camera cutout int he display is either a different phone or a prototype that did not make the cut.
The OPPO Find X2 series is expected to be announced on March 6 alongside a new smartwatch from OPPO. At this stage it is unclear where the event will be held — given Coronavirus concerns it is possible that it will be an online (mostly) event just as realme are doing for their new X50 Pro 5G,set to be announced later today.
