Youth-focused mobile telco Boost Mobile Australia has announced it will be launching its own #stay community initiative via socials to help young Australians #stayconnected, #staycreative, #staypositive and #stayentertained.
Boost Mobile is partnering with Life Without Andy (LWA), supporting local talent by kicking off a weekly ‘Live at 5’ session from this afternoon Thursday 16th April, featuring a slew of Aussie artists including Allday and Cubsport.
The Boost Mobile #stay initiative will also include a social campaign whereby Boost ambassadors will provide a window into their world – sharing personal tips and tricks for how they #stayathome and #staypositive. The aim of the #stay campaign is to engage the Boost Mobile community in discussion about the various ways people can interact with each other and the things they love as well as the various meanings staying connected can have to different people.
Boost Mobile will be encouraging followers to #stayentertained with a series of games incentivised by a major giveaway with 240GB recharges given away on the daily and a Boost Mobile iPhone XS refurb (RRP $789) as a weekly prize over the next 4 weeks.
Tapping into World Surfing League and Motorsport partnerships, Boost Mobile will share podcasts interviewing some of our favourite surfers and unique content from Motorsport ambassadors. Over time, the #stay campaign will continue to evolve including access to training workouts at home through a collaboration with SpotNetwork.tv and the W Training Facility in California, where many of the top supercross and X-Games athletes work out.
Driven by Boost’s own ambassadors and partnerships, the campaign aims to engage their following in this discussion and hence develop and enhance a sense of community and togetherness while we are forced apart. As restrictions continue, Boost Mobile will announce further activities and initiatives to help keep young Australians #stay together while apart.
According to Jason Haynes, General Manager, Boost Mobile;
“We want to share the message with our customers that just because we have to stay home, does not mean we can’t stay connected. Whether with friends or family or staying connected to your passions and hobbies, we want young Aussies to share with us what being connected truly means to them.”
“We see these initiatives as our small way of giving back and supporting the community who have always been so supportive of us, and we encourage everyone to stay creative, connected, and stay positive, and we will get through this together!”
