Lenovo is now selling it’s new Tab P11 mid range large 11 inch Android tablet in Australia for $499, competing with the base model iPad and Samsung Tab S6 lite.

There was no comment about whether there would be Australian stock of the more premium Lenovo P11 Pro Android tablet for sale soon so it’s a safe bet if you want that you’ll have to consider the risk of a grey import from Expansys etc.

Lenovo says it’s Tab P11 is a happy medium between giving your family access to the latest tech they need, without costing a fortune or sacrificing the experience you want from a sleek and powerful tablet.

The new Lenovo Tab P11 offers an 11 inch high-definition 2K (2000 x 1200) touchscreen IPS liquid crystal display (LCD) with a strong max brightness level of 400 nits so it should be viewable in sunlight outdoors. With integrated Eye Care mode technology certified by TÜV Rheinland, the display also helps lower harmful blue light to reduce eye strain.

The exterior of the Lenovo Tab P11 is styled with a contemporary dual-tone finish in either Slate Grey or Platinum Grey hue with a sturdy aluminum-alloy chassis for a sleeker profile.

Under the hood is Snapdragon 662 with advanced LTE, integrated Qualcomm FastConnect subsystem and up to 6GB RAM for speedy browsing, the Lenovo Tab P11 is also one of just a handful of tablets certified to stream Netflix shows in HD.

The family-friendly Lenovo Tab P11 also comes with Kids Space from Google, a new kids mode that features apps, books, and videos to help kids under nine years of age learn and have fun (while the adults finish online work meetings in the other room).

Official Australian stock of the Lenovo Tab P11 is available right now at JB Hi-Fi shops for $499 or if you’re not in a hurry and willing to not have any local warranty then overseas grey import stock is available on Bang good for $380 but could take up to 5 weeks to ship to you.

I’m writing this post on the Lenovo Thinkpad I bought last year and love to use. Lenovo laptops have a great reputation but their Android tablets historically haven’t received many software updates.

Please let us know in the comment if you would buy a Lenovo Android tablet.

it says on the website 4 gig ram and in the video 6 gig ram

how much is the 6 gig ram ?

JeniSkunk

US spec, there’s a 4GB Ram/64GB storage, and a 6GB RAM/128GB Storage P11, available.
US list a 4GB RAM/128GB Storage P11, but it cannot be selected for purchase.
AU spec, there’s only a 4GB RAM/128GB Storage P11.

Waiting for a refresh of the Chromebook Duet.

Having a look at the both the Lenovo Australia, and the Lenovo United States pages for the P11 tablets, Lenovo are using photos of the P11 Pro, to promote the P11. The P11 doesn’t support the Lenovo Precision Pen. The P11 Pro does.
