Yeah, Black Friday is still a couple of weeks away but this one couldn’t really wait. One of the — in my opinion — best devices released in 2022 is set to receive an $800 discount as part of the Black Friday sales. But OPPO isn’t just selling the big guns at low prices, they’re discounting a number of phones.
Starting at the top of the tree, the discounts buyers can expect to see on the Find X5 range include:
- OPPO Find X5 Pro down from RRP $1,799.00 to $999
- OPPO Find X5 down from RRP $1,399.00 to $899.00
- OPPO Find X5 Lite down from RRP $799.00 to $699.00
All three devices received very strong reviews from our team, noting the capabilities and slick nature of the hardware. Jo noted in her review of the Find X5 just how good a phone is for users to not notice it:
The Find X5 is a great phone. Aesthetically pleasing and effortlessly functional, using the phone is a seamless user experience. Perhaps in part because of this, it’s very easy to forget that a lot of effort and high-spec componentry went into making it ‘just work’.
Personally, if I were buying right now, a $999 price tag on the Find X5 Pro, you wouldn’t need to twist my arm much harder.
Cleverly though, OPPO hasn’t stopped there, landing the recently released Reno 8 between the Find X5 and the Find X5 Lite at $799.00 during the sale. If that’s a touch too rich then the Reno 8 Lite is down $100.00 to $499.00
The pricing isn’t yet live but will go live on November 22nd across the usual retail channels including JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, The Good Guys and Big W.
@Phil, Oppo have been pretty lousy with OS and security updates in the past. Has that changed at all? This is the one reason why the R15 Pro was my first and last Oppo phone.
Do you mean not doing it, or slow to deliver?
Both. My R15 Pro was a beta device (can’t remember the Android version) but never received that version of Android. My wife also had an Oppo but the updates were very slow. Most times, the security updates were 2-3 months behind.
These sale prices, posted in advance of the corpor-rat USAian sell-aberration, are the prices these three devices should have been at, from the outset.
