Lenovo has added two new tablets to its range on sale in Australia which are designed to target entertainment, learning and mobility needs.
The Lenovo Tab P12 is billed as a back to school device although we are mid year and kids have been at school for a while now. Despite this, the Tab P12 is perfectly designed for the younger student in mind, blending educational and playtime needs. With a large 12.7-inch display with 3K resolution, Dolby Atmos audio, and JBL speakers, this is a tablet that’ll meet the needs of media consumption, light gaming and keeping up with schoolwork.
The Lenovo Tab P12 stands out for its compatibility with the new Lenovo Tab Pen Plus and ThinkPad–inspired keyboard to facilitate smarter ways to learn. The large display can be split for multitasking—taking notes for an online class or viewing a document, while a specialized reading mode and eye care feature support long, immersive study sessions.
The other tablet, the Lenovo Tab M10 5G, is specifically designed to cater to highly mobile consumers who want convenience without having to worry about staying connected. This always–connected tablet provides rapid 5G connectivity and sustained battery life on a 10.61–inch 2K screen.

The Lenovo Tab P12 will start at $699 AUD / $799 NZD in August and can be found on Lenovo’s website. Local pricing and availability of the Lenovo Tab M10 5G to be confirmed soon.
I hope Lenovo does the right thing by users, and brings out a 5G version of the P12, capable of being used as a phone.
I doubt that’ll be happening but I found it surprising that the more capable tablet didn’t come with a 5G inclusion… seems like a missed opportunity.
