Welcome to episode 141 of the Ausdroid podcast!

Google suddenly has an overlord, OnePlus finally announced – and is selling – the OnePlus 2, and Motorola’s new Moto X Style, Moto X Play and Moto G are getting ready to come our way soon. We also take a look at how manufacturers and carriers are responding to Stagefright and a rumoured set of specs for the 2015 Nexus phone(s) (we hope).

With Jason Murray, Dan Tyson and Scott Plowman.

Note: Scott’s audio is very quiet for the first few minutes of the show. Blame Jason for fiddling with Hangouts On Air’s control panel.

Before discovering the Nexus One, Jason thought he didn't need a smartphone. Now he can't bear to be without his Android phone. Jason hails from Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane depending on his mood and how detailed a history you'd like. A web developer by day with an interest in consumer gadgets and electronics, he also enjoys reading comics and has a worryingly large collection of Transformers figures. He'd like to think he's a gamer, but his Wii has been in a box since he moved to Sydney, and his PlayStation Vita collection is quite lacking. Most mornings you'll find him tilting at various windmills on Twitter - follow @JM77 and say hi!

only just getting round to listening to the show… but Scott’s audio started off bad/low and then went silent, felt like some stunted conversations.
Also thought it was a bit rich Dan calling Jason out for his pronunciation of Sergey…. Dan have you got that american telco Verizon sorted out yet.
