Motorola is busy launching their new Moto Z2 Play, as well as the Moto E4 and Moto C across the world, and at their event in Ghana, the company had another product to add to the range: a 360-degree camera mod for the Moto Z series.
There’s little known about the mod itself, with no MP information or details on video etc. except that it’s built into a Style Cover style shell that attaches to the rear of the Moto Z series phones. The mod will likely utilise the 16-pin connector on the rear of Moto Z phones, but beyond that, we’re not sure of much. Luckily, there are pictures of the mod thanks to TechDroider.
Update
Looks like the inimitable Evan Blass is all over this tweeting out this great look at the mod:

There’s no information about pricing or availability, but we’ve put a query in with Motorola Australia to see if they can shed some light on the mod and if we can expect to see it here at some stage.
I guess this is the gadget of the moment.
Maybe… on holiday I’d use it. Maybe.
I still say, make a GOOD camera mod, and you will have me sold on the whole ecosystem.
