Attention party animals, Sony has today announced that their high-power audio system, the MUTEKI V90DW, a massive 1.7m tall speaker with built-in speaker lights and multi-colour woofer lights is now available in Australia.
The speaker is sure to be the centre of attention at any party with the fun illumination options that include a multi-colour woofer light and mid-mount Sky Blue Party light as well as three colour rear lighting setup for the back wall.
It also has a powerful sound with powerful sound with support for Dolby Digital that plays through four 5cm tweeters, four 13cm mid-range speakers and twin 25cm sub-woofers. Sony says that theV90DW features a ‘Spread Sound Generator’ which is an open back-type cabinet which increases the range and spread of music. The front facing mir-range speakers and tweeters are angled outward at 20 degrees for a bigger sound. The speakers also have a ‘horn’ like style to maximise the reproduction of sound across the room.
The speaker supports wireless options including Bluetooth and Chromecast support, as well as support for Spotify Connect. If you have more compatible speakers, you can sync up to 10 with the Sony Music Centre and Fiestable mobile apps.
With an included CD/DVD player you can be the life of the Karaoke party with inputs for microphones, and even HDMI out to connect to a TV. You can also input a guitar and use those massive speakers to strut your stuff.
At 1.7m tall, it’s a massive speaker. Sony has made it easier to move as well with built-in casters to make wheeling it around a bit easier.
At $1,199 it’s not the cheapest speaker but it looks like a lot of fun. It’s available now in Australia, through the Sony Australia store online.
