As usual with all these Aldi Tablets they WILL sell out quickly, so if you want one get in early next Saturday. Bear in mind that these tablets are certainly cheap and not as well built/engineered as a major brand name but they do like to pack a fair amount into them, so for a budget conscious family these are actually a pretty good deal.

From the Whirlpool thread discussing this latest Aldi tablet – http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=2056759 – It apparently has a 1.2GHz ARM Cortex A9 MTK8377 Dual Core Processor with the 2006 vintage SGX531 GPU. Oh dear.

If it is anything like the last 10 incher they bought out (it looks almost identical physically) then expect to return it in a few days.

If it runs pure android then I hope it performs well for the consumer.
