Looking for a good deal on a 10″ Android tablet? Kogan is currently sending an email out announcing that they’ve dropped the price on the Nexus 10 to just $309 plus delivery($33.99).
It’s WiFi only tablet – there never was an LTE or 3G/HSPA version – but runs a more than full HD (2560×1600) resolution on a 10¨ screen, which combined with the 1.7 GHz Dual-Core Exynos 5250 CPU, 2GB of RAM and dual front facing speakers makes for a beautiful Media player.
It runs stock Android 4.2 out of the box, but is still currently listed as supported for updates directly by Google and with the hardware inside should be fine for at least another update. That said you will be prompted to accept an Over The Air(OTA) update to the most current version of Android – 4.4.2 – as soon as you switch it on.
It comes with a 1 year warranty with optional upgrades to 3 or 5 year warranties and Kogan also has third party accessories for the Nexus 10 available such as Smart Covers and Screen protectors.
At $309 it’s a pretty decent deal, even for a tablet that’s over 12 months old and with no refresh of the Nexus 10 in sight, it’s worthwhile checking out if you’re in the market. If you’re interested check out what I thought of the Nexus 10 here.
