Earlier this month at Computex, Asus unveiled a range of tablets and hybrid devices, including an update to their Transformer Pad. Today, Asus has announced that the MeMO Pad 7 and Transformer Pad (TF103C) will be available for sale in Australia through retailers from the 10th of July.
Both the MeMO Pad 7 and Transformer Pad TF103C, use 64-bit Intel Processors – the Quad-Core Intel Atom Z3745. But thats where the similarities in hardware end. The MeMO Pad 7 is a 7¨ tablet available in a range of colours – Red, Blue, Yellow, Black and White – while the Transformer Pad TF103C is a 10″ tablet, with a removeable keyboard dock.
The software front is where the similarities emerge again, with all tablets and Android Hybrids announced at Computex coming with Android 4.4 (KitKat) with the Asus ZenUI. The Asus ZenUI is an all-new intuitive user interface that Asus developed. Asus has advised that the new interface includes a modern, flat UI, including themes, animations, ringtones an notifications as well as over a thousand software enhancements.
