Following Lenovo’s teaser video for their IFA press event, in which they hinted at “a new chapter in tablets”. Today what appears to be a new version of their Yoga Pro line of premium Android tablets passed through the FCC.
The 10.1″ WQXGA device has all hallmarks of their pro series with Technicolor Enhanced Colour and JBL speakers, most likely incorporating Dolby ATMOS sound. FCC filings are concerned with radio emissions so the details are still a little sketchy, what we can confirm as the following specs:
Screen | 10.1 ” IPS LCD |
Resolution | WQXGA 2560 x 1600, 298 PPI |
Screen technology | Technicolour Color enhancement |
Audio Trechnology | JBL Speakers,? DOlby ATMOS |
Rear Camera | Yes |
Battery | 9300 mAh |
WiFi | 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac |
Bluetooth | 4.0 LE |
One interesting aspect we have noticed is the charging input of 12V 2amps. Typical USB chargers are rated at 5V not 12. This raises a question over the power adapter. It could simply be a proprietary charger, or it could be using a higher power input via USB-C, however, the smart money is on the proprietary charger.
From these specs there doesn’t appear to be anything transformative about this specific tablet, all of the specs are on par with last year’s offerings. The slightly smaller battery in this model could suggest that Lenovo will dispense with the inbuilt pico projector in the Pro model?
We only have a few more week until IFA and the expected reveal of Lenovo’s new product line, with FCC clearance already been secured they could even hit shelves soon after.
How is the Lenovo Yoga Tab 4 Pro 10.1 looking to you? Let us know below.

Yo man this is the only article on Yoga Tab 4 pro i found on-the web, i am a fan of this line i am really waiting for the next projector Tablet from Lenovo pls give more updates if you come across any. Thanks Bud, waiting for some announcement in CES 2017
I keep thinking I am going to get one of these Lenovo’s tabs when my most favourite tablet, the nexus 10 carks it. Now we have the tab 4 coming out, and luckily, my trusty N10 is still humming along.
I don’t need mobile data as I just use hotspot from my phone, but either way, the pricing on these Lenovo’s are certainly competitive.
Will certainly follow these tabs with interest!
Yeah, I`m eyeing off one of the ones with a projector in it.
