HP is getting in ahead of the CES madness, announcing another Chrome OS device, this time the G2 Chromebox using an 8th generation Intel Kaby Lake processor.
There’s actually options for either a 7th gen, or 8th gen Kaby Lake processor depending on which processor you use. There’s the 7th gen Intel Celeron 3865U, the Intel Core i5-7300U or the 8th gen Intel Core i7-8650U to choose from, with anywhere up to 16GB of DDR4-2400 SDRAM, with a choice between 32GB or 64GB of storage.

No pricing has been announced, but the Chromebox should be available, in the US at least, from April. We’ll be checking in with HP Australia for any local announcements closer to launch.
