Asus has been a mainstay in Chromebooks for some time now, releasing a steady stream of devices in the smaller form factor. They’re going large with their latest model offering a big 15.6″ display on their latest model.
The Asus Chromebook 523 has shown up on the Asus website offering a mid-range Chromebook spec with a large 15.6″ ‘up to FHD NanoEdge display’, which hints the display could be offered in HD as well as FullHD options. The site lists a 180-degree hinge for the Chromebook, allowing it to lay flat on a table, allowing you to ‘share content easily with friends and colleagues’.
The Asus website itself only lists the Chromebook running Windows 10… but no other specs, though NYC based Adorama shows the Asus Chromebook 523 will run an Intel Dual-Core Celeron N3350 processor with 4GB RAM and 32GB SSD.
There’s nothing on the Asus Australia website on this one, so we’ll have to wait and see what happens.
