The HP Spectre x360 is a stunning piece of hardware with some pretty sharp specs offering a genuinely premium look and feel to it.
The Hardware
The specs most users are going to be looking at are the Quad Core, 10th Generation i7 Intel Core processor, 16 GB of RAM, a 4K OLED display, and a 512 GB SSD with 32 GB Optane. With these you’re in for a high performance user experience. But the raw power specs don’t tell the whole story, there’s a lot of little things in the design that make it worth looking at.
The webcam has a kill switch that prevents it from being remotely activated to spy on the user. Complimenting this is the led mic mute button which makes visible the availability of the mic to your system. Multiple USB-C ports is the headline for physical connectivity and the full suite of wireless connectivity you can want or expect in the current hardware generation. A standout feature for my mind is the 22 hours of battery life, more than enough to see you through a day (or day trip interstate) without needing to carry the extra weight of a charger with you.

The HP Spectre x360 13 is expected to be available in late October via HP.com and major retailers Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, and The Good Guys, with a starting price of AU$1,999 depending on the model and features you choose.
