It seems that the upcoming “value” model tablet from Samsung has settled on a name, The Tab S7 FE. That is at least, if you take the appearance then subsequent disappearance from the German Samsung site into consideration.
We’ve already seen multiple iterations of the device and potential names through a number of leaks. This includes images recently shared by Evan Blass at Voice. Thankfully, the naming roundabout seems to have settles on a consistent naming scheme with the phones, using the FE branding as a “value” tag.
The tablet is said to be a 12.4-inch display with 2560 x 1600 resolution and S-Pen capable. It’s got a Snapdragon 750G, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage which is expandable by MicroSD. The 10,950mAh battery should do most users a good day of use, even if it doesn’t, 45W fast charging will restore your battery quickly and get you back in the connected world
Generally speaking, Australia isn’t at the pointy end of release cycles for anything other than premium devices for Samsung. Hopefully, the Tab S7 FE bucks that trend because tablets aren’t dead yet!
You’re correct Phil, the iPad isn’t dead, unfortunately Android tablets are.
