Samsung Electronics has introduced its first AI-powered tablets, the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S10+. The new models, featuring 14.6-inch and 12.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays, come bundled with the intuitive S Pen, making them ideal for creative tasks and productivity.
The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra boasts a significant 18% increase in CPU, 28% in GPU, and 14% in NPU performance over its predecessor, the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. This leap in processing power enhances AI-driven features, allowing for faster, more responsive user experiences. Both models introduce the Galaxy AI Key on the Book Cover Keyboards, enabling users to easily interact with their AI assistants.
Among the new AI software are Note Assist and Drawing Assist, which optimize the tablets for creative and productive uses. The devices also serve as AI home hubs, integrating with Samsung’s SmartThings ecosystem, offering 3D Map View for managing connected devices.
“The Galaxy Tab S10 series is our first to come equipped with AI enhancements right out of the box,” said MC Lee, VP of Samsung’s Galaxy Ecosystem team. “It’s a powerful tool, blending portability and intelligence to offer an unmatched experience in our connected world.”
The Galaxy Tab S10 series also emphasizes sustainability with the use of eco-friendly materials, while Samsung Knox ensures robust security. Available in Moonstone Grey, the tablets will launch globally on October 10, 2024 with the pricing for the Tab S10+ starting at $1,799 for the Wi-Fi-only option and $2,049 for the 5G variant. The Tab S10 Ultra starts at $2,099 for the Wi-Fi version and $2,349 for the 5G-enabled option.
