A few weeks ago, we reported that Google were running a competition on Twitter and Google+ for folks in America to get early access to Glass by being invited to join Google’s Explorer Programme. Google were going to offer invites to the most creative entries submitted using the hashtag #ifihadglass.
Google have announced today that they have picked the winning entries, and will be sending out invites over the coming days. Now all the lucky people have to do is fork over $1500 and they can take home the most expensive eyewear they will ever buy (probably).
If it were up to me, LeVar Burton would have won with his entry referencing his Star Trek: The Next Generation character, Geordi La Forge:
