If you’re a big Google Drive user your list of files is quite possibly fairly large. Google is making it easier to track down files with a new feature that lets you search within a specific folder.
The implementation is fairly easy, allowing you to right-click on a folder and then search within that folder or you can click on the search bar and choose the folder you want to search. There is a limitation to the new feature in that you can only search a folder within your own Drive, or on a Team Drive if that folder has been shared with you (and you’ve added it to your Drive).
The feature appears to be heading out to the web only at this stage, with no mention made of the Android (or iOS) apps. Google is rolling the feature out over the next 15 days, so keep an eye out for this one.
