As we’ve been waiting for, Fossil has today launched two new watches incorporating a number of long awaited features with the Fossil Q Venture HR and Fossil Q Explorist HR now available to order in the US.

The Gen 4 watches running Google’s Wear OS, both offer long requested and awaited features including NFC for payments, GPS for fitness tracking and Heart Rate monitoring, all in a stylish designs available in two sizes with a range of bands available. The watches are built with stainless steel casing which offer swimmers waterproofing up to 3 ATM.

The Q Venture HR is the smaller of the two watches with a 40mm case that comes in a variety of colour options including Stainless Steel, Gold and Rose Gold, along with a range of interchangeable leather and metal link 18mm bands.

With a 45mm stainless steel case, the Q Explorist HR is the larger and more chunky of the two with a 13mm thick case and is also available in a range of colour options including stainless steel, ‘Smoke’ stainless steel and Gold. Like the rest of the range, the Q Explorist HR also supports interchangeable 22mm bands.

The watches come with a touchscreen and are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor and come with 4GB of storage. Fossil says the watches both have ‘all day’ battery life and charge with an ‘Inductive Charging Magnet.

Selected models of both the Fossil Q Explorist HR and Fossil Q Venture HR appear to be available now, though selected models seem to be out of stock until the 26th of August. Both watches range in price from USD $255 to USD $275, Fossil hasn’t announced Australian pricing at this stage but we’ll update when they advise of availability and pricing.
