We were expecting / hoping that all of Fossil’s sub-brands and partner brands would be releasing new Wear OS devices running on their latest Gen 5 platform at IFA this week and for the most part we have gotten what we hoped for. Overnight two more devices have been announced — the Diesel On Axial and the Emporio Armani Smartwatch 3.

Both of these devices are getting the full Gen 5 treatment with the Snapdragon 3100 Wear SoC, 1GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage, microphone, speaker, heart rate sensor, NFC for Google Pay, 3 buttons with digital crown and magnetic charging. Both devices have a 44mm case and a 1.28-inch OLED display.

Both devices are slated for an October launch in the USA with the Diesel costing USD$350, which would see Australian pricing around AUD$520. The Armani Smartwatch 3 will be priced at USD$395 (AUD$590).

Unlike the other recent announcements these devices have not popped up on the Australia online sites for the brands, so we can’t confirm if they are coming to Australia. We have contacted Fossil Australia and will keep you all updated regarding their arrival Downunder.
