If you’re a regular watcher of Twitch, you’ll know the difficulty of keeping pace with how fast the chat can move. This can be compounded if you break into a separate chat with one or two others in a fast moving chat room. Finally, Twitch has introduced threaded chat to the platform in a Twitter announcement.
Chat Replies help you keep the conversation going, even when chat is going off.
Try out new message threads, keyboard shortcuts and more, now available to all communities on Twitch.

This is great if you’re involved in those break out chats, perhaps even better if you’re not with the ability to minimize the thread and simply ignore it. It’s a welcome addition to the platform, making engagement with other viewers and broadcasters easier.
With online gaming and esports only gaining momentum and value, platforms like twitch, Youtube and Facebook gaming will likely grow. Changes making the platform more user friendly will surely make Twitch the more attractive option.
