Iconia Tab 7
It’s not the first time we’ve seen a tablet which is capable of voice calls, so the ability which is included Iconia Tab 7 should be nothing terribly overwhelming. The Iconia Tab 7 has been announced in an anodized silver.
It’s main claim to fame appears to be the 3G voice calling, although the 3G will also allow customers to surf the web using the data capacity. Acer has listed the tablet will be available in two models: the A1-713HD and A1-813. The A1-713HD will have a 1280×800 IPS anti-fingerprint display, 5 MP rear camera and run Android 4.4. The A1-713 will have a 1024×600 display, 2 MP rear camera and run Android 4.2 which is upgradable to Android 4.4.
Both tablets will have a 7″ display, just the resolution being the differentiator. The Tablets will also both have up to 6 hours of battery life. The tablets are being released in Latin America in June as well as in Europe, Middle East and Africa in the middle of May, pricing will start at €149, which is around AUD$221.
We’ll keep our eye out for these tablets and let you know when they’re available
