It sounds as if Acer is working on a new breed of Chromebook. We’ve heard some rumours of Tegra-powered Chromebooks for a little while, but Acer might actually bring the first one to market in August 2014. According to the perhaps accidental product listing on Komplett.se‘s site, the Acer Chromebook CB5 features the Tegra K1 chipset, 4GB of RAM and a 32GB SSD, alongside a big, beautiful 13.3″ HD display.
From the imagery, it looks as if there’s two USB 3 ports, an HDMI port, 3.5mm headphone jack and a pretty spiffy exterior. No other details are really known, but take a look, and see what you think.
