Early last week we heard rumours that Nokia were planning a return to the mobile market in the early stages of 2016.
In a statement on the company’s website, Nokia make no apologies for the brevity and flatly denied the claims. Further elaborating that comments pertaining to have been made by Nokia Networks executive team are not accurate.

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – Nokia notes recent news reports claiming the company communicated an intention to manufacture consumer handsets out of a R&D facility in China. These reports are false, and include comments incorrectly attributed to a Nokia Networks executive.
Nokia reiterates it currently has no plans to manufacture or sell consumer handsets.
It really doesn’t come much more short and to the point than that.
