If you have an A-League soccer membership you can signup to Paramount+ Australia for $75/year instead of the usual price of $89.99 for an annual subscription or $8.99 per month for a monthly subscription.
Paramount+ launched today in Australia and is available online at ParamountPlus.com.au and on mobile and connected TV devices via the Paramount+ app on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV, and Android devices, Google TV and other Android TV OS devices.
New subscribers have access to a free seven-day trial even if they previously tried out 10 All Access which is the service Paramount Plus has morphed from.
Paramount+ subscribers will have access to more than 20,000 hours of content throughout the year though initial reactions from early subscribers are that the TV and movie content on offer is not very compelling because so many big ViacomCBS shows and movies are already licenced in Australia to competitors streaming services STAN, Foxtel etc.
Paramount+ will hopefully greatly increase their content offering overtime via SHOWTIME, BET, CBS, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Paramount Pictures, the Smithsonian Channel and Sony Pictures Television as well as commissioning local TV series.
The only really strong area Paramount+ is kicking goals in is being the home from October 2021 for the A-League and W-League, plus live extensive coverage of all the Matildas, Socceroos and FFA Cup matches.
10 ViacomCBS will broadcast the below content across Network 10 and Paramount+:
- Matildas Friendly Internationals (home and away)
- Socceroos Friendly Internationals (home and away)
- U23 Men’s Friendly Internationals (home)
- Socceroos’ 2026 FIFA World Cup Asian Qualifier Round 2 matches (home)
