We’ve known for some time that the next Galaxy Unpacked event would be focused on foldable devices, now it’s confirmed. Samsung has posted the date on their website, while also confirming we should be “ready to unfold”. Great news of course if you’re waiting on a new Samsung device.
August 12th is the date for those of us in Australia, with the event to be held online at midnight AEST. We’ll almost certainly see the rumoured Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3, with a high likelihood of a new watch and earbuds. Whether or not the Galaxy S21 FE makes an appearance isn’t clear, given last year the S20 FE was released in September: The timeline is close, but not consistent.
