In preparation for their major network update in June, Vodafone have started pushing out the 4.1.2 update to the Samsung Galaxy Note II. The update brings not only the obvious Jellybean update, but also the required software tweaks for the phone to be 4G capable on the upgraded Vodafone network.
The update began its push out a couple of days ago and is expected to have reached all current Note II users within the next 10 days. This is great news for those who invested in the device recently — they won’t need to upgrade again to take advantage of the high speeds on the network.
Another phone that’s already 4G capable on the Vodafone network is the HTC One, and thanks to Vodafone we’re giving one away at Ausdroid. Head over to our competition for your chance to win an HTC One.

What Kevin said minus the trip around the country side 😛
Had no issues, received notification while in Brisbane, updated in Melbourne and now back at work in Perth. Update went really smoothly, no issues. Hard to notice any differences really…
You’ve certainly been on a trip around Australia.
Great, and that comes with a bonus Group Play (pair to other Note2, S3 & S4 phones)
