The Android 4.4.3 update that’s been rumoured, could be hitting Nexus 5’s from today, at least according to US carrier Sprint. Sprint has updated their support page to list the update – Android build KTU48F -as rolling out to phones via an Over the Air (OTA) update.
The Sprint Nexus 5 matches up with the US based Nexus 5 (LG D820), although is slightly different to the international Nexus 5 (D821) due to different wireless bands, however it’s highly likely we will see this update hit the international model as well.
The update which has Sprint specific inclusions, namely the activation of two Spark bands on their network, also has “miscellaneous Android updates” included. The updates that were expected in the next update to Android include updates to the Bluetooth stack, a fix to the mm-qcamera-daemon power sapping issue and more.
No OTA has been captured as yet, but we should hopefully get some more information on changelog etc, soon. Of course if you do receive an OTA for Android 4.4.3, be sure to give us a heads-up.
