Samsung is currently enjoying a good run with their recently released Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge phones, the buzz is there and Samsung is keen to capitalise on it. Earlier this month, Samsung’s mobile division head of marketing Lee Young-hee announced that Iron Man themed Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge handsets would arrive ‘at the end of May or early June’. True to their word, Samsung has just begun teasing the launch.
The handset, which is apparently being designed in co-operation with Marvel, has received its first tease from Samsung, hinting that the phone may almost be ready to launch.

Samsung has been building its relationship with cinematic juggernaut Marvel over the last couple of years, culminating in a release of Avengers themes for the newly announced Galaxy S6/S6 Edge, and releasing – overseas at least – a range of Avengers themed accessories. This is all tied in with the fairly prominent product placement of Samsung devices in the latest Marvel blockbuster – Avengers: Age of Ultron.
No details on pricing or availability of the handset has been announced, but there has already been significant interest expressed about the phone. We’ve reached out to Samsung Australia about availability down under, but we expect to hear more once the phone is officially announced.
