LG has previously spoken about the lengthy process that goes into making the opulent, vegetable tanned leather rear shells for the G4, a process which takes up to 12 weeks to create each one. Now LG has released a new video which shows the process from a piece of cow hide, through the intricate inspection process that weeds out all inferior skins with pores greater than 0.001 micrometer in size, to the vegetable tanning process, through to the final hand-stiched leather shells we’ve all seen and lusted after.
