Google appears to be ramping up efforts to advertise both their Google Search app, as well as the Nexus 6P.
According to a couple of tips, the latest Google App ad, titled ‘Breakfast, Meet the Google app’ is starting to show on network TV – most recently showing three times during the X Factor on Channel 7. The ad is in the same vein as previous ads showing off the Google Search app, but with one big difference: That’s the Nexus 6P the people in the commercial are using. Check it out:
30 second version:
There’s no sign so far of the actual Nexus 6P or Nexus 5X commercials which Google has been running on heavy rotation in the US, but it’s a start. There’s a shortened 15-second version of the ad also available if you want to watch it, but we’ll keep an eye out for a full Nexus 6P advert as well.

Too bad the Nexus 6P doesn’t work well with all telcos (*cough* Telstra *cough*)
Can spend big $$ to make and show prime time TV adds but can’t test that their phones work on all the networks. Good to see nothing has changed in the tech world
Must have changed channels before they had the disclaimer, the one saying *not to be used on Telstra
We just learned that Scott is a closet X Factor fan ;P
