HTC
Android 7.0 is now live, and the list of companies announcing the devices that will be updated to Nougat has already started. HTC pre-announced their device schedule back in May, and now they’ve updated with a little more information on when you’ll get that release.

The initial announcement listed the HTC One A9, HTC One M9 and the 2016 flagship, the HTC 10. As Google and HTC weren’t sharing a release date for Nougat, they weren’t able to announce a time frame for the release of Nougat for these devices, but in a tweet, HTC has come forward with some details announcing the HTC 10 will be first to receive the update, getting the update in Q4, with the other devices following after.

As usual, updates for carrier locked devices will have to wait for the testing process to complete before the update is rolled out to your device.

Nougat is now in AOSP, manufacturers have the code, so now it’s time for HTC to add their Sense flair to the code and we’ll see what they come up with on the other side.
