For mid-range devices, the build quality looks exceptional with ‘diamond’ cut all metal bodies, gracious curves around the devices and a full complement of features that could make these very compelling phones.
Unfortunately, neither device includes NFC for mobile payments, which does make the device a little hard to recommend if you want to start using mobile payments like Android Pay.
Huawei talked up their international experience in mobile networking and the Nova line includes support for 143 countries. At launch, they have announced that it will be launching in 50 markets with a further international roll out following that.
The Nova will sell in Europe for approximately $590 AUD where the Nova Plus will sell for around $640 AUD. We have reached out to Huawei Australia for comment on any Australian release date and pricing, but at this stage it isn’t looking too likely.
