Following a series of leaks concluding with what looked like the official Samsung cases for both the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, we’re now seeing a non-official render and 360 video of both devices.
The render was created with what is known from a series of leaks and information provided by various sources including apparently CAD files of the devices. Without further ado here’s the 360 video.
The post lists smaller S8 with a 5.8″ display which will measure 148.9 x 68 x 8 mm, while the 6.2″ S8 Plus will have measure 159 x 74 x 8 mm. This puts the smaller S8 as slightly taller than S7 but shorter than the S7 Edge. The larger S8 Plus will be slightly larger than last years Note 7 by 6 mm in height and only 0.1 mm width so basically nothing! That’s an achievement.
If these dimensions are correct and the renders accurate then Samsung is shaping up to have one (or two) hell of a phone on their hands.
If the promised camera improvements with the snapdragon 835 pan out, I might even excuse the curve crack magnet screen but I’ll take out insurance on it.
Can’t wait.
