The impending launch of the Huawei Mate 20 next month means that the leaks of the phone, and associated accessories are starting to leak with greater frequency. Today we have the Mate 20 shown off in a brief 11-second hands-on.
The video isn’t long, but shows off the Mate 20 which has a ‘HYRION’ logo on the rear which is the brand used by Huawei for prototypes.
The phone in the video is the Mate 20, not the Pro with the fingerprint sensor on the rear a key hint. The Mate 20 is expected to utilise an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone in the video has the expected tri-camera sensor array on the rear in a square configuration with the fourth spot taken up by the LED flash.
The curved glass body is appears to sit comfortably in the hand, and the curve continues onto the front of the phone where the large display has a small waterdrop style notch for the front-facing camera. The display appears to be 16:9 in aspect ratio making it slightly wider, with rumours pointing to the phone using a Samsung made AMOLED display.
Though not much else is seen in the video, it’s a good quick look and now we just have to wait until October 16 to see it in the flesh.
