With Samsung’s Galaxy event to kick off early tomorrow morning out time, there have been plenty of rumours and leaks about the upcoming high-end smartphones from the company.
We have one more bit of tidbit news (and it really is minimal) to share thanks to our friend Evan Blass. Evan’s shared that the new name for Samsung’s foldable smartphone will be the Galaxy Fold.

The name is unusual, in that it doesn’t carry the S10 branding; equally, given the success of the foldable concept is yet to be proven, it’s probably best to keep the naming separate so as not to jeopardise the established (and successful) Galaxy S branding.
The Galaxy Fold has also been given a small spot in the company’s latest TV ad, which has been broadcasting on TV and online here for the last week or so.

I really hope we don’t get a bunch of people now running around the city playing silly AR games…that Pokemon was bad enough with people walking around mindlessly.e
