HMD Global’s investment in the Nokia smartphone brand has produced some excellent smartphones, and one of the main selling features is the stock Android experience. That includes regular OS updates, and today we can confirm the Nokia 3.1 has received an update to Android 9 Pie.
A detailed changelog of the update is currently unavailable. However, in common with Android 9 Pie updates elsewhere, we’re expecting to see common things like navigation gestures, redesigned UI, adaptive brightness, and adaptive battery.
With a promise of two years of version updates and three years of security updates, it’s likely the Nokia 3.1 will see Android Q when it’s released towards the end of this year.
