As with any operating system, it’s important to keep them up to date. If you want the absolute latest update at all times, the best bet is to grab yourself a Pixel phone and keep renewing this every couple of years. That being said, Samsung continues to deliver updates to its recently released phones at an acceptable rate.
The latest phone to get a security update is the Galaxy S20 and it’s the March patch. We reported on it arriving on international versions last week, along with a patch that supposedly fixed the camera.

Although it is unclear from the changelog the camera improved performance most likely is another attempt to fix the auto focus issues that have plagued the S20 Ultra since its release. Of note is that even though the international version received a camera fix last week it has received another camera fix update yesterday as well. It is possible that the first “fix” was a test and this new update is a tweak to that fix.
It’s a fairly hefty download at close to 400MB, so it’s definitely worth being on your Wi-Fi should you have a data cap on your mobile. Let us know if the update fixes any camera issues for you.
