ALDImobile is once again offering its 1 year Super Pack, offering unlimited standard calls and texts with 15GB of data for an annual fee of $99.

If you ration out the data, the plan works out at $8.25 and 1.25GB per month. It’s certainly one of the cheapest plans on the market, but the data cap is a little small. If you need to add data, packs are offered at 3GB for $15, 20GB for $30, and 70GB for $60.

Circles.life is the competitor that sticks out the most with a current promotion that nets you 20GB of data per month and unlimited standard calls and texts for $18 per month for the first year, then $28 per month after. There are no cancellation fees and the carrier uses the Optus 4G network.

ALDImobile uses the Telstra 4G network, but you won’t have access to Telstra’s 4GX speeds. If you’re the type that only uses your data very sporadically (and if you’re stuck at home, who can blame you?) the plan may be competitive. For regular users, though, it may fall a little short.

The Super Pack will be available from Wednesday 24th June while stocks last.

I think the circles.life promo is over. Can’t see it anywhere on their plans page. 🙁

Boost would be the best of the bunch on the Telstra network! $150 for 12 months and 80gig data.
