Optus has released a new prepaid smartphone called the Optus X Tap, which offers some solid features for a reasonable price of $149. The X Tap comes with a 6.52-inch IPS HD+ display (720×1600) and is powered by an Octa-Core (1.6GHz*4) + (1.2GHz*4) Processor chipset, 3GB RAM and 32GB of onboard storage that can be expanded to 512GB via MicroSD card. It also carries a dual rear camera set up that includes a 13MP main camera alongside a 2MP depth sensor, with the front facing camera being a 5MP camera.
The X Tap also comes with a decent suite of connecitivyt including:
- Bluetooth 4.2
- NFC
- Wi-Fi 802.11ax
- 3.5mm audio jack
The Optus X Tap is available from the Optus website or your local Optus Store directly for $149 and comes with a bonus $30 prepaid SIM plan.
The X Tap is rebranded ZTE-P651 2021.

I like my Optus X Tap-runs Android 11 and the octa-core processor is the Unisoc SC9863A-same as the X Pro.
