Let’s be honest here… Google start and kill a lot of projects and ideas fairly quickly. That even includes hugely popular ones like Inbox and if you’re interested, check out killedbygoogle.com for a full list.
So forgive me for being somewhat skeptical when I see the official twitter for Android offering help by hashtag.
Have questions related to your #Android 📱? We’re here to help. Now, you can get assistance by tweeting your issue using hashtag #AndroidHelp.

The premise is simple and should be relatively easy to deliver on:
- Users tweet support questions with the hashtag #AndroidHelp
- Someone from the Android team answers
The problem is that there is no clear direction on the responses. No indication of who will, when or even if you can expect an answer.
As you can easily imagine, there’s plenty of complaints and queries aplenty. But a distinct lack of response from any official account or individuals in a position to officially respond.
This is a developing pathway, so stay tuned as we learn more.
