OnlyFans is known as a platform where people can — and do — quite literally, sell “their stuff”. But there are also a significant number of content creators on the platform who are sharing knowledge, not selling you “their stuff”. As part of the launch of the app, it has been made abundantly clear that while the platform is well recognised for its adult content – There’s a lot more to OnlyFans.
Perhaps I’m getting old, but having little knowledge of the platform I queried a friend who is the right age — a millennial — she too was surprised. Much to my amusement, she said I feel like this content has probably always been there but the sex people took over because of TikTok.
The OnlyFans TV app brings more content straight to your mobile device including Sports, Fitness, Wellness, Cooking, Comedy and general Vlogs. Some of these do push the line between informative and risque at times. It’s worth noting that the videos are curated to not cross into the realm of adult content though, which would risk the listings on both Google and Apple app distribution channels.
Tim Stokely, OnlyFans founder and CEO said:
From the onset of launching OnlyFans, we have been a creator-first platform to give creators further autonomy and power over their content. We’re all about giving creators more opportunities to get their content out there and more ways for our community to access it.
For now, the OnlyFans TV app is free to access with a lot of free and some exclusive content to come.
