Optus announces pricing for the new Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+

Following the announcement of the brand new Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ this morning, Optus has announced its plans for the new handset, including pre-orders starting at 12.01am on Friday 31 March, and a range of plans to join the new handset.

Customers who purchase the Samsung Galaxy S8 on the $85 My Plan Plus will pay just $9 monthly handset repayments over the 24 month plan. Customers who purchase the Samsung Galaxy S8+ on the $100 My Plan Plus will pay $13 monthly repayments over the 24 month plan. Here’s the highlights of the various offers Optus has for the new Galaxy S8 range plans:

• For a limited time, all new and recontracting customers who pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S8 or Samsung Galaxy S8+ will be eligible for Optus Mobile TV streaming for the life of the plan at no additional cost when they sign up to any 24 month My Plan Plus or Business plan.
• Premium My Plan Plus $160 customers will also be able to:
  • Stream music from iHeartRadio, Spotify, Google Play Music and Pandora; watch the great content from Netflix and Stan with Mobile TV (subscriptions required); or, keep up with the latest Premier League action with Optus Sport, all without using any of the plan’s data.
  • Get access to unlimited standard national and international roaming talk and SMS per month, plus 1.5GB of included roaming data with the Premium $160 My Plan Plus/Business or 1GB of included roaming data on the $130 My Plan Plus/Business to use in Zone 1 countries per month.
