Dale Dickins contacted me today to inform me of this years Software Freedom Day, and he wants some of you Android Enthusiasts to go down and chip in your two cents on the Closed vs Open Source debate, seeing as Android is very much a great Open Source community.
Hi, I’m on the Software Freedom Day committee and we’re creating the day for 2010. We’re thinking an open vs closed source ‘debate/conversation’, looking for Androiders to participate.
We have a LUVbeginners (linux users victoria) meet this Saturday 15 May 12-4pm with a SFD meet for an hour beforehand 11am-12noon. Docklands Community Hub – any Androidians available to meet with us to discuss/create Software Freedom Day 2010.. it’s at the State Library September 18. Thanks, Dale.
