Good ole’ Vodafone announced a little over an hour ago that they are also carrying the Galaxy Tab (*surprise*), but have given no word on pricing or a release date. We’re expecting release dates for all Carriers to be in the next week, or Optus will have the Galaxy Tab all to themselves for a while. From the looks of the spec sheet posted up on Vodafone’s Blog, they will be stocking the 16GB version, so if you’re after the 32GB variant, a MicroSD card might just be your next best idea.
Voda also notes that an ‘Application Upgrade’ will take place when you first power up your Galaxy Tab, and will chew up 9MB of Data to get this done. You’ll also be getting your free 2 month subscription to The Australian, Need For Speed: SHIFT & NAVIGON. Hit the break for Vodafone’s spec sheet.
i was hoping for this! i mean optus got a good deal, but their reception is terible in my area!
If Optus has bad reception in your area, could that mean the Voda’s may be worse?
