Sony Ericsson AU have just confirmed to us that the Xperia Play will come to Australia during Q2 (April – June). We’ve obviously not had a play with one yet, but we’re dying to. No carriers or pricing has been released yet, so we’re clueless as to whom will be picking this baby up. Surely a carrier will want this as an exclusive seeing as though they could market this thing beyond all belief, but hey, we’ll just have to wait, won’t we.
This is good news. Now I just need to hope my featurephone holds out till then..
This phone will probably work, the idea of a gaming phone has not really worked before, think nokia etc, but the playstation name has massive mind share… I am intrigued!

Galaxy S2 looks pretty lame IMO, though the specs are nice.
