When Google said In-app Billing was coming next week, last Saturday, they really meant it. Today In-app Billing went live and the first app we used it in was Quota for Android. It’s a seamless experience which pops open a Android Market window on top of the current application and lets you buy whatever it is you’ve selected with a simple touch on “Buy now: AU$X.XX”. Purchases done In-app aren’t refundable, so if you pay to upgrade to a full version of an app, like we did with Quota for Android, you’re stuck with it whether you like it or not. No doubt we’ll be seeing this implemented into heaps of apps in the coming days and weeks. What do you think?
