What you’re looking at above is apparently a leaked image of the upcoming Sony Ericsson Xperia Duo. The name Xperia Duo doesn’t come as any surprise as they were given out as trademarks by Sony Ericsson back in December last year. What we don’t know about the device are the specs, but going by the name ‘duo’ one can only expect that it’s referring to a dual-core processor, and with a dual-core processor usually comes a large screen; the one above being no exception, it looks about 4.3″+ and stretches from edge to edge. The buttons below the screen as setup in the same fashion as the current Xperia devices out at the moment, and we can also spot a front-facing camera as well.
There have also been some modifications made to the User Interface, with a music widget sitting below the application launcher button. It might not even be a widget, ‘duo’ could refer to dual speakers and this being a multimedia device. Who knows, but we’ll find out soon!
Does anyone look at the dates on the phones screens to try getting hints as to when they’ll be announced/released?? Says the 14 July??? I’m in the market for a new phone and I would like the arc, but want to wait for this one.
If it is a 4.5″, i’d be pretty interested. I’m a bit of a fan of the bigger screens.

If it’s not a dual core device SE should not bother releasing it. Dual core seems to be the future, SE would really benefit with a dual core in their range.
